Laura has spent over 2 decades in classrooms guiding children from Birth through Kindergarten. She also has experience in hiring and training staff, activity and extracurricular planning, writing and editing school publications, and student and staff evaluation. She has a passion for nurturing young people, and tending to classrooms and the adults that bring them to life.

Laura is currently completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Radiant Child Family Yoga

She also runs Aurora Family Support, offering prenatal and parent/child yoga classes and postpartum services.  She recently participated in 18 months of contemplative training with the Courage of Care Coalition. She studies the science of compassion and contemplative practice, preparing to provide meditation and self-care for educators and parents, helping to develop their capacities for personal transformation and well-being.
